We are writing to share an important update regarding our organization. We are pleased to announce that Alessandro Lombardi, currently Vice President for EMEA procurement and Global Finished Product Sourcing, will assume the role of Sr. Vice President for Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) at Whirlpool Corporation, effective June 1, 2023. In this new role, Alessandro will be leading all global and regional procurement operations for Whirlpool.
Alessandro joined Whirlpool Corporation in 1995 and has held leadership roles across many areas of the procurement function, including international assignments in China and Brazil. Since 2013, Alessandro has been the VP of Procurement for EMEA, with additional responsibilities in Global Raw Materials and Global Finished Product Sourcing. With an impressive background and a proven track record of success, Alessandro brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this new role.
